Due to a successful contract agreement with Wales Air Ambulance, we are seeking to recruit additional Pilots for our rotary operation based at various locations around Wales. - Current CAA ATPL(H) (dependant on base) or CAA CPL(H) with Instrument Rating
- MP Type rating or MCC certificate (dependant on base)
- Minimum 1500 hours as pilot-in-command of aircraft, of which 500 hours is as PIC on twin-turbine helicopters
- Minimum 1500 hours twin-turbine helicopter experience
- Minimum 500 hours operating experience in helicopters, gained in an environment similar to the intended operation, (Experience to be agreed by Head of Flight Ops)
- Minimum 100 hours IFR
- Minimum 50 hours as pilot-in-command of helicopters at night
- Current Class 1 medical
- Current UK/EU passport
- Physically and mentally fit to undertake demands of the role
- Fluent English, driving licence, right to live & work in UK
Desirable:
- H145 type rating
- Familiarity with AOC HEMS operations
- NVIS experience
